This Kamloops wedding was on a spectacularly hot day in July, in a church with absolutely no air conditioning and barely any windows that opened. After we were done in the oven… :) we spent the rest of the afternoon seeking the shade! Luckily a nice breeze picked up in the afternoon.
After a quick stop at an A&W for some burgers and fries we headed out into the surrounding hills of near the Blackwell Dairy farm for the bride + groom and wedding party portraits. In a word it was “spectacular”! Dark clouds were rolling in with dramatic bolts of sunlight striking down, making the grass fields just positively glow with a bright warm light.
The reception was at the Colombo Lodge, which is as far as we know the best hall in town, and just as we got there the rain poured down. A good time to head inside! The meal was what you would expect from a big Italian wedding!
OH WOW!!! These are FANTASTIC! It will be hard to choose which ones to get enlarged!!
